KAUKAUNA (WLUK) -- 9-year-old Katelyn Much and her group Katelyn's Kindness is officially working on its largest project to date. 9-year-old Neenah girl collects ‘Kid Kind bags’ for tornado-affected children

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - A 9-year-old from Neenah is collecting donations for children affected by the recent tornado, filling bags with snacks, toys, books and games she hopes will bring comfort during recovery.

Katelyn Much, founder of Katelyn’s Kindness, said the effort — which she calls Kid Kind bags — grew out of concern for children who lost belongings and homes in the storm.

Neenah girl launches ‘Kid Kind bags’ for those affected by tornado

(WFRV) – Nine-year-old Katelyn Much joined WFRV’s Off The Desk show to talk about her project for children who were displaced by Monday’s northeast Wisconsin tornado.


The project will reportedly provide ‘Kid Kind’ bags to children across the Fox Valley area. Each bag has a variety of child-friendly commodities.


Katelyn recently moved to Neenah.

Eight-year-old gives back to the community, one birthday at a time

Sturgeon Bay second-grader Katelyn Much collected over 200 books this month to stock The Door County Bookmobile. Much celebrated her 8th birthday on March 29th by hosting a Harry Potter-themed birthday party at Crossroads for Big Creek, where around 30 attendees gifted books for the cause in lieu of birthday presents, at Much's request. Local bookstore owners David and Margaret Magle also donated books to the effort.

Sturgeon Bay girl brings holiday cheer to veterans with cards and cookies

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – Seven-year-old Katelyn Much from Sturgeon Bay is spreading love and gratitude this holiday season by creating handmade cards for veterans.
