On Monday, July 27th, 2026, Northeast Wisconsin where Katelyn calls home was hit by a fierce EF-3 tornado. The tornado ripped through Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah, displacing many and creating an astronomical amount of damage. While adults worried about their homes, children worried, too. Katelyn knows several children who are staying in hotels with their families, away from their room, pets, toys, belongings, and home.  All the kids and families impacted by this storm are in Katelyn's prayers and thoughts. Katelyn hopes to bring some smiles to kids during this hard time. She is assembling Kid Kind Bags, which will include treats, snacks, craft projects, games, and little surprises. She will be distributing these next week to kids between Appleton, Neenah, and Menasha.
